Why this exists
Pool pricing in the GTA is opaque. Two crews quote the same opening $180 apart, and neither quote says whether chemicals, vacuuming or a water top-up are included. Homeowners end up calling eight companies to learn a range that should be public.
This site publishes the range first, then the companies. The figures come from municipal sources, published quotes and the companies' own pricing, and every page that uses a number says where it came from.
How it is run
GTA Pool Contractors is run independently in Ontario, Canada. It is not affiliated with any pool manufacturer, distributor or franchise. There is no parent company and no investor to satisfy with lead volume, which is why nothing on the site is gated behind an email address.
Questions, corrections or a complaint go to hello@gtapoolcontractors.ca. We answer.
How it makes money
Right now it does not. No listing on this site is paid for, and no company has bought placement. If featured placement is ever sold it will be labelled as advertising where it appears, and it will never change a rating, a review count or a licence record. Enquiries sent through the site are passed to the crews you are matched with and are never sold onward.
What is real today
All 4 published records are matched to trading businesses with contact details confirmed. The price ranges, municipal rules and guides are sourced and dated.
The dataset behind these pages was last reviewed on 2026-11-02. The full method — sources, ranking order, what verification does and does not cover — is on the methodology page.
What this site will not do
- Sell the same enquiry to five crews, or sell it on afterwards.
- Publish a review, rating or customer count it cannot attribute.
- Claim a company covers a city it has not said it covers.
- Put the price ranges behind an email gate.
Corrections
If a record is wrong or yours, the corrections page explains how to fix, claim or remove it. All three are free and none of them involve a sales call.
