Work out the job before you call anyone.
Four tools, no account, no email wall, nothing to download. They run on the same price bands and checklists the rest of this site uses, so what you get here matches what a crew in your city is quoting against.
Each one ends with the option to send the job to listed crews. None of them require you to, and none of them store your answers.
01 — Cost
Pool cost estimator
Pick the job, the pool and the options. The range narrows as you answer, and every line item is shown separately so you can ask a crew to beat a specific number rather than a total.
A blowout is included in every closing price. Pumps, heaters and liner repairs are quoted separately after inspection.
Estimated range
$350 – $500
CAD, before HST. Installed.
- Opening base
- $425
Built from GTA partner averages. Access, condition and water chemistry can move the final price.
02 — Water loss
Leak or evaporation?
Most water loss in a GTA pool between June and August is evaporation. This separates the two cases using the loss rate, the liner surface and whether you ran a bucket test.
Step 1 of 3
How much water are you losing in 24 hours?
Mark the water line at the same time on two dry days. Rain and heavy swimming both distort the number.
03 — Repairs
Repair price guide
Start from the symptom rather than the part. Each band is a planning range for the usual job, before HST and before the technician has seen the equipment.
Start with the symptom
Heater won't fire or water stays cold
Gas heater, heat pump or control fault. Diagnosis first — most heater calls are not a dead heater.
- Diagnostic service call
- Often credited against the repair if you approve it the same visit — ask before booking.
- $95–$185per visit
- Heater repair (ignition, sensor, manifold)
- Common faults are a flame sensor, pressure switch or a cracked manifold. Parts included.
- $350–$900per repair
- Heater replacement
- Gas and heat-pump units are priced differently; load sizing and gas line work move the number.
- $2,400–$5,500installed
Planning band
$95 – $5,500
CAD, before HST · GTA. Diagnosis can change this.
Detection, parts and labour are separate line items. Ask for all three in writing.
04 — Closing
Closing checklist
The full fall list, grouped in the order a crew works through it. Tick items off as you go and print it for the equipment pad. Progress lives in the tab and disappears when you close it.

Send the job once and it goes to the listed crews covering your city. If no crew is listed there yet, we say so instead of guessing.
