Estimates are not quotes
Every price on this site is a planning range in Canadian dollars before HST. It is compiled from municipal sources, published quotes and company pricing, and it describes a typical job with normal access. It is not an offer, not a quote, and not a guarantee that any company will do your job for that amount. Site access, water chemistry, equipment condition and liner measurement all move the number.
Listings are not endorsements
A listing means a company does this kind of work in the cities shown. It does not mean we have inspected its work or that it is the right choice for your pool. Verification covers identity, contact details and, where on file, insurance and WSIB documents — it does not cover workmanship, price or licensing status at the moment you call.
Before work starts, ask for a certificate of insurance naming you as additional insured, a current WSIB clearance, TSSA registration for anything involving gas, and an itemized written quote. The directory page lists all six checks.
We do not perform the work
We are not a party to any contract between you and a company listed here. We do not schedule, supervise, warrant or insure the work, and we are not responsible for the quality, timing or price of it. Complaints about the work go to the company; if a record on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
Ranking and advertising
Position is decided by the method published on the methodology page. No company can buy a higher position. If featured placement is ever sold it is labelled as advertising where it appears, and it never changes a rating, review count or licence record.
Accuracy and corrections
Records are compiled from public sources and dated. Businesses move, close and change what they offer, so a record can be out of date between reviews. Report an error on the corrections page and we will correct it within five business days; removal requests are processed within seven.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape or republish the dataset, submit false enquiries, or use the site to harass a listed business. We may remove access for that.
Content and liability
The guides, tables and calculators are ours; you may quote them with attribution and a link. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or from work arranged with a listed company. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario).

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions go to the contact on the about page.
